Its Just Time to Update

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 17, 2006, 12:11 PM
Its been a whole fricken year since I last updated, and that is just ridiculous.

My life has mostly been worrying about college and going to school, wasting my time away. It has to a point where I think about it everyday.

Originally I wanted to study while I lived at home to save money. But after hearing stories about living on their own and just being free to party and just roam the city, I don't want to live at home anymore.

It sounds horrible, but when I get into college, I don't want to have any family or past associations to worry about. It would cool if they could just give me money, but that is not going to happen anyways.

Oh yah... I need money. I wish it was morally okay to strip or steal, because I would so do it.

Other news besides college shit, I sprang my ankle. This was the first time in my whole life I ever sprang/twisted/broke any part of my body. It was a cool experience I guess. Everyone brings you food and you get to take a long break from school. It was extremely fat, and then it lost weight and now it is purple and bruised.

Back to deviantart. I guess I might submit my traditional art work that we completed in class. Please do not laugh at me.

Thats it.

I want to see your traditional art!!

I'm sorry you sprained your ankle. That sucks. Those can take longer to heal than a break. :(

I wish you luck living on your own - I have to say, you're going to have to work your butt off to do it, pay rent, have $$ for food and for running around. I know it's not cool, but I lived at home until I graduated from college. I never worried about eating or laundry and it let me focus on my grades. Don't get me wrong - I still went out and stayed out late, etc, but I didn't live alone until I was out of school.

Let me know how it turns out for you!!

:D

I know where your coming from, about worrying over college stuff and wasting your life away. I just recently applied myself, but if you think about it, all this stress will probably never go away, not until summer at least, and even then....eh. (at least thats my situation lol) So! might as well take it one day at a time! Good luck with everything ^^

I agree with you. I'm also going to live on my own in the next month or too I hope. That is, if I find a room in such a popular studentcity as Utrecht, the Netherlands.
I'm going to love the freedom I think. I'm just at a point where I think I can take care of myself and also want to do that.
I'd love to see new work from you! Your photos are always beautiful so I'm eager to see other work of you.

Good Luck!

greetings,

Niek

Well I'm worrying about the same junk too but I made sure to apply early due to the stress I knew about. Good luck on getting into the college of your choice and submitting artwork.

I will go ahead and submit my traditional right now...
It's not super, but I'm super proud of them.

And thanks for all the advice about....life. College, where to live... everything.
I really take your comments to heart.

You're very welcome. :) I will hopefully get to comment on your paintings this week. I'm behind again, sadly! I haven't even had time to look at them. I think you're brave for posting them. It just shows your versatility as an artist and your willingness to express yourself artistically through different mediums.
